Interesting ...

Browsing through the watch magazines tonight, it came as a surprise to me that AP doesn't figure in top 25 watch advertisers in the US !
I like that :)

No Panerai either or JLC or Blancpain for that matter .. Cool. Ain't it ?

I wonder how those figures are compiled. For example, AP seems to spend a lot of money on sponsorships, and has built brand awareness that way. Do you think that's considered advertising, or do those figures only refer to print, billboard and social media ads?

I like it when I don't see the same watch I am wearing on someone else's wrist. Cool info

I don't think I've ever seen AP ads in print media. PP/Rolex, yes.

They do 'selective' advertising which I love!

Under the radar is fantastic--heck less than Casio

I'm surprised Hublot isn't on there either. I suppose they focus mostly on sponsorships, like AP. But I do see a lot of print ads for them also, unlike AP.

AP just pays some of the guys here like Hal and Thomas. What more do they need?

Make no mistake, AP is very marketing savvy. They are a maker and promoter of luxury goods, just like the rest of them! :-)
