I like both and would get the GMTIIC mostly because it has a date. I use the date feature everyday and that's the main reason I've never bought a Daytona.

Not having a date on the daytona does get annoying but not much of a two tone fan..

Gotta go with the GMTc. If you like the Daytona please go white.

I love the black Daytona and I'm not sure why people like the white so much, black looks far better to me. I'm not a fan of TT but of all the TT's out there, I would choose the GMT2C or SubC in black.

Of the two I would take the Black dial Daytona. Having said that, I prefer the white dial Daytona to the black.

As a daily watch, for practicality, the GMT IIc would have the edge because of the date function. However, I don't like the two-tone GMT IIc on my wrist. The black and gold looks a bit stark on my pale skin!

The watch I wear most is a steel GMT IIc. My white dial steel Daytona generally only gets worn at weekends or holiday time.

To me, the TT GMT C is the finest looking Rolex watch ever made.

I call it the Pot of Gold and love it.

Cheers!

get both! I wanted both, but opted for the daytona first. You can always get the GMT at a better deal later.

2 watches with very different functions. My choice is the SS Daytona. Notwithstanding that I don't use the chrono functions often or the fact that the dial is very cluttered, there is something attractive about it. I am not a fan of the GMT, at least not yet.

If I may add, if the option comes down to either a TT Daytona vs a TT GMTii or a SS Daytona vs a SS GMTii, my vote still goes to the Daytona.

GMT for me in this shoot out.

While I don't normally go for TT, I'd still choose the GMT for its date and time zone functions.
