A letter telling ROLEX - GENEVA (make sure you CC a major newspaper that will get some attention) what you think of their shitty retail network, might (probably will) fall on deaf ears. But what is one letter going to cost you?

Of course, keep it professional, no threats, and there should not be a need for it to be sent to the legal department.

Trying is half the battle !

Try them if there one in your area.

Allen,

I have to disagree with you on a note. Whether it be Rolex or a hometown owned jewelry store as we have here in Pensacola, Fl The local Ad. It's simply capitalism at it's best, Supply / Demand and what the market will bring. Nothing personnal.

Haven't you ever shopped for an item in high demand before? Limited editions? You can't expect them to keep something available JUST for you.

I was 4 years on a list in switzerand, had trouble even getting on it, but kept bugging them, and finally got a fax after four years wait!
Had a holiday planned their anyway, maybe that swayed them, but you have to be persistant and pesky!

And that is something the Swiss DON'T LIKE!!!!

I would think that somewhere, somehow, in the great big USA, a dealer or 2 must have exactly what you are looking for. I assume that you have contacted all of the major AD's high & low with your shopping list. I am amazed that you have been searching for 8 years without success. There has to be an AD out there that wants your business, and will FedEx it to you asap......gha
