Question on the GMT oyster lock...

What year was the first for the Oysterlock bracelet on the GMT Master II?

I have a 1995 (T<25 dial) with the Oyster (no lock) bracelet and I would like to replace the clasp as long as it's not out of sync with the progression of the watch bracelets. Do that make sense? I want to keep it as original as I can.

The GMT typically came with an oyster bracelet without the lock. Usually the 7836 or 78360 with regard to oyster bracelets. I personally like the oyster lock and have fitted my 1675 with a 93150. I find it more comfortable because the clasp covers more of the bottom of my wrist and is more centered. I do know that GMTs could have been ordered with a 93150, and for a 95 I think it would be fine.

Yep, many were fitted with the submariner bracelet with divers extension for flight suits. I recently flew with a USAF major who wore his 16750 like this. Looked great.

Your best option might be to replace the clasp on your 78360 with a 93150 clasp. A very simple change involving a couple screws. It is less expensive than buying the complete bracelet.
