Newbie Here, Hi

Just bought my first Rolex today!
My grandfather and father had them and I always wanted one.
I am 38 now and finally got one!
I bought a 1987 Datejust with the 2 tone SS and 18k with a blue dial and the jubilee band....I bought it from a reputable dealer in watches in my town after looking all over the internet....I couldnt pull the trigger to buy one off of ebay, too nervous....This dealer gave me a full 1 year warranty and sold it to me today (after a little haggling) for $2K. From what I have seen, I believe I got a decent deal on watch I have always wanted!

Any Tips?

Thank You

Just spend a little extra money

If you spend a little extra money the watch it will be fantastic, this is mine one from 1982. I have the bracelet away for a de stretch at the moment to finish the job. Best of Luck with your new watch.

Any recommendations on what I should do? They told me it was serviced but not cleaned cosmetically. I've read where some of y'all have had the crystal buffed out etc....
What is a de-stretch? How much $ does all of this cost?
Thank you
