My decision was based on what i already had in my current collection which was black as the majority. I wanted to change it up and obtain something different this time and selected the white dial. Hope this helps any.

No right answer. I think demand fluctuates based on geography. I've definitely seen a lot more white ones available but that could be purely luck.
Both are stunning and I had the fortune of looking at both side by side. No question that black was the better looking watch (to me). The viability issue is a bit overblown but, then again, I'm still young! :p I would never buy a watch I didn't love for the sake of perceived or actual monetary value. Selecting a $12k piece of steel is absolutely not a monetary decision but an emotional one. As such, you should treat it as one and follow your heart. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1373404293.450220.jpg |

Honestly, No one can give you the right answer on this battle. ASk yourself which sings more when you put them side by side several times.

I'm usually partial to black face watches, but for the Daytona I find it looks nicer in white. Black just doesn't seem as wow to me.

Last thread I recall had 60% vote for white.
I tried both on and black is very dressy. I've seen more chicks wearing the white dial. Got me turned off a bit :( |

What's the Daytona market like?
Seems they are for sale everywhere and most are remaining unsold. Also is the Daytona as bad of a scratch magnet as it is per claimed to be? |

Black looks far cooler in the sun. White one looks fantastic on any lady but not on so many gents.

white, if you have many black face already in your collection. You can always buy a dial and change the color to you like. It's a nice watch, doesn't really matter which color you choose, just pick one and you won't be wrong.
