Now that it is the 114060 I say hi for it!

Thank you, Tim!
See post #56 or below. Taking pictures of a luxury watch isn't easy. If the watch in real life looked like my photo, I would have offered $600 and asked for change!
The guy who posted his photo in post #55 did the watch justice. Now THAT'S what I fell in love with!!!

You know, I've never seen a minute hand move so smoothly. It just glides across the dial, like a graceful soft shoe dancer. Absolutely incredible!

I don't know how many photos I dumped today, Mike. At least 2 hours worth! Canon Elf 310 HS. I wanted one like in post #55-a truly gorgeous photo. That's my watch!!

Oh well, I can't complain. I'm finally a Rolex owner. Sleeping will be tough tonight!!

Ha! Ha! I already got water on it to clean the crystal!

At 7500 it should be the new 114060, last list on the 14060M was 6300, if you can find it. Actually my AD has his last one NIB which he will let me have for 6K. Think it get it tomorrow. Seem reasonable?

GO FOR IT! Though I'd keep looking for a preloved for around $5k.

The LAST TRUE SUBMARINER.

I love the fact that three months after he bought the 114060, people are still encouraging the OP to go back in time and get the 14060M.

Get both? Actually, maybe that's not such a bad idea...

Just saw this, I'm such a fan of my 14060 that I glom onto every thread I see. I picked up mine, brand new with stickers and all from my local AD in May, he had this one left over. Price was an irresistible $5,000, this after I bought a Datejust, some earrings and a PO in the last 10 months. I got the repeat offender price. Next is an Explorer.

Yes, it was just sitting in his display case, waiting to be picked off. The price made up for a so so discount on my DJ.
