I'm glad I got out before the Army started wearing those black berets. I can't think of a more useless piece of headgear.
Is that an Armored division patch? |

The patch there is IRR. I have since swapped it for an Airborne CAPOC on the left shoulder, CENTCOM on the right shoulder, add two more service stripes to the left arm and two combat stripes to the right. I need a tailor, and retirement.
And YES the beret is worthless thank heaven it is only a garrison requirement. |

ohh I did my military sercive at Pamukkale/Turkey ( a touristic and so nice place ) but the 5 months and 5 days duration was not so nice for me, during waiting with gun I was thinking my Tissot at home, my BMW and my future Rolex even when the bosses were shouting at me I was just counting seconds to pass and finally finished. =))There are lots of photos with my soldier uniform but I couldnt find them for now, I'm puting 1 photo when I was at a trip during my military service at Pamukkale.I ll put photo with uniform if I will be able to find. Happened between dates 12.12.2005 -17.05.2006.

Front row on the left when I was just a pup. Dress code optional.
A very rare daylight jump. I'm the one with the camera. |

Hmm, let's see - I recently scanned in some of my old photos from the army. Looking back at it, I really should have gotten into photography much earlier.
Winding up after an exercise. Last man standing. The joker leftmost in the photo (with the ALICE pack still on) decided that he wanted to navigate. Five hours later, we checked our position and realised we'd walked a whole circle and ended up two klicks from where we'd started. This shot was taken just after we were done abusing him and a few of his ancestors.
