These two models are so different. You may end up missing AP a lot. As much as I like the Nautilus I don't think I would do that switch.

Get the 5712. Much nicer and you won't have to pay extra. And get yourself a Rolex from the money you would have paid extra as a pat on the back to yourself for saving money.
