I had a problem with the crowns of my AP watches when I bought it used. But all my Aps that I bought brand new never has any problem.

I think the 44mm is a better idea but as you have quite a few 40mm you should try on the 44mms first as they do wear bigger.

Negative on ym2. Big rolex fan yet don't like this model at all. Too busy and not classic IMHO.
