I broke a the little pin bar.....

I went to go try a drumset and I put my watch in pocket cause it feels weird when I play. When I pulled it out I saw that the extra security fold over part of the bracelet had come off. The pin had bent.

Im sure its a cheap fix but I was just wondering if It's covered by my rolex warranty (I got the watch serviced in april but I dont know if the bracelet is covered for being stupid

Pic would help...
Cant be exactly sure what part your talking about....

But sounds like your talking about the fliplock part of The clasp...

will require replacement of whole clasp assembly... Not cheap & not repairable... ~$300

If it is a spring bar , then disregard, your all good.

That part is actually like a little rivet and is not user-serviceable. However, any decent jeweler or watchmaker will be able to repair pretty quick & cheap if it's not under warranty.

I dont have a pic since i gave it to the AD and the guy I deal with wasnt there, so he couldnt tell me if it was under warranty. But to clarify it's when you put on the bracelet and it clicks...then you flip the little extra security lock. that little thing came off , i still have the piece just the pin broke

The short answer is "no". That is a "wear and tear" item.

If your watch movement or crown had a problem after servicing, then repairing that would have been covered.

No, you do not to change the whole clasp. Any halfway competent jeweler or watchmaker can install a new "pin" for not much $$.

Did I just get the equivalent of "I know you are but what am I?" from a grown-up? Timeless.

If you were going to respond to my question, why not just answer with the truth? "I like being a **** sometimes in my posts. The internet is serious business."

sub 14060m. Im waiting for my ad to call me back. As mentioned on post 3 it's a small little rivet. I wonder if they're going to tell me to change the whole clasp or if they're capable of fixing it. News to follow
