What can you tell me about this Sub?

Hi everyone

I had a look at this Sub today at a shop, but didn't have much opportunity to ask about it's age, model number, etc as my kids were with us and were running all over the place! I was told that it was serviced locally (not RSC).

I own a new Sub (116610) and don't know too much about the older models.

If anyone could chime in with approximate year of production, model number and anything else I'd certainly appreciate it. Unfortunately the crappy cell phone pic is all that I have.

Cheers!

It's a 16613 with a serti dial. A search of "serti" in the search function will take care of your other questions

It's from sometime before (roughly) 1998 based on the "Swiss-T<25" dial.

The thing to also consider is whether the watch started life as a 16613 Serti, or if the dial was added later. This is an example of where the original papers could help you validate its true heritage.

You can see genuine Serti's and aftermarket ones on eBay all the time.
