new member watch pics
Hey all , im a newbie here and I guess like many of you very taken by watches.
Here is a couple of my favourites : My ROLEX 1922 solid 9ct full hunter pocket watch The LONGINES 14ct pocket watch about 1962. The old 5500 air king , no bracelet currently 1934/1935 but I am not positive. I wear this one a bit when not working , the marine industry is not a place for a gentlemens time piece like this. A not so common wrist watch I think ? A G,Jenssen 18 ct swiss made auto. This one gets some wear as well. |

I agree , I have a few mates that are or were avid collectors but often did not see the value in a pocket watch , it traces the history of watches in my humble opinion. A must have for anyone that has a taste for watches. REGARDS |

Excellent review and photos! I've been searching for a GMT (not sure which one) and this thread provided me with a wealth of information. Really useful to see how it works, plus the explanation right from the manual. Wasn't sure of the differences between the GMT I and II; this review and the comments said it all.
