Pricing for a used GMT Master

I'm looking at a used GMT Master (16710) with the coke bezel.

It was manufactured in 2007.

The prices I'm seeing are in the $5k range.

Is that a fair price?

Thanks so much.

Low $5 or high $5

They hold there value well and are always in demand for great examples...

Mine is a k serial Pepsi, bought in essentially mint. I think it was in a safe in its life before me. I paid right at 4800 plus tax.

I look almost daily at the postings and yes the 5K range is about right.

Older ones 5K or a little below, the newer 2006 and up mid 5K.
Depending on how motivated the seller is, you could knock off a hundred or two.

The condition and originality of the watch is paramount when it comes to value. An older model in mint condition may be worth more than a newer watch in only good condition..

5k seems fair. It seems like most being offered here with a "no holes" case are listed for higher than that. Not sure if they are getting that amount though.

I just picked up a P series that wasn't ever worn, like never since the guy bought it. It lived in his safe and had been serviced once. I picked it up for $4,800 but talked him down from $5,600. I would say around 5k is the going price though. It's a great watch though! You will enjoy it!

I bought my 2007 Z series 16710 (Coke) from an AD for a ridiculously discounted price in 2007. It has been the best watch in the world. Just had it serviced last summer. When I got it back from the RSC, the documentation read that it had a 3186 movement. Not that that makes a difference, but makes it a little unique to me. A keeper
