IWC Portuguese Automatic or AP 15400

Which one would you choose as an everyday work watch (wearing suits/smart-casual)? And why?

I think the AP is more versatile. Sporty, dressy, etc.

Portuguese Chrono isn't even close, but the 7-Day (5001) can give it a serious run for the money. Especially the -07.

I think the 5001-7 is a better work watch as it's less bilingy and looks dressy on strap.

IWC if its this or 15400.
If its 15202 then it's a different story.

I do love the 15202

The darn water resistance is the only thing keeping me from pulling he trigger.

I've owned both and have to say the 5001 is awfully thick...I loved it, but the RO is much more versatile for me. Fits nicely under shirts and jackets etc.

The AP works on the beach, but also at the office. The leather strap on the IWC makes it good for office use, but not so much for leisure. I vote 15400. I thoroughly enjoy mine!

I really like the Iwc, but as many have said the AP is more versatile. Start with the Ap and later you can get the Portuguese.
