Watches are just time telling topical drugs.
Well 2 days ago I ended up selling my Rolex 5501 Air King, and Tag Heuer professional, and within 24 hrs I had already bought a vintage seamaster. It just never ends, watches seem to come in pairs for me as well. Whenever I buy one, I always find a second within a week. Now I'm getting rid of watches and buying more?!? It's madness; I've been bitten by the vintage bug hard. and I've never been happier, less than a year ago I bought my first Rolex, 8 months later I had bought my second. Now I'm down to just one Rolex, but I've got quite a few omega interests, and now that my vintage seamaster is bought I'm on the hunt for a speedmaster moon watch. When I first started looking at the forum I wondered how People ended up with dozens- hundreds of watches and now I'm starting to see how!

Congratulations on a "new" watch!
I was looking for a new watch and was having a very hard time deciding. I liked the "Hulk", the "Batman", and the 40mm SS/Platinum Yachtmaster with a Blue Dial. Then for some reason I started looking at vintage and am edging toward one of them as opposed to a current watch. That started a whole new problem! I was familiar with the pricing for the new watches, but, have no clue as to pricing on the vintage watches. A new learning curve started. |

I don't really know what you're talking about???
I was very happy with one Sea Dweller... I did buy a second one however, I mean it came as a super nice complete package... And my third one was just too nice an example to pass up... And my 4th, well, with a Matching Dial and hand set like that I just had to have it... And my Zenith Daytona...Well with all those Sea Dwellers I just HAD to have something with a white dial... But hey...I was happy with one watch... |

Its a very expensive disease, 8 Tags, 3 Tudors and a Rolex for me in the past 9 months, now I am a carpenter so needless to say that I have to hang a lot of doors to stay ahead of this disease.
In hind sight I probably should have rather shown the same interest in women than watches, at least after 9 moths I would have ended up with only one child, a lot easier to maintain than 11 watches and a lot cheaper lol |
