I did a quick search and it seems that Nomos did make the Ludwig in YG once. Also seems that there is one for sale in this forum! Will not hijack the AP thread but let's continue on PM!

That's a great piece, congrats my friend! And as Mike and I always say there is nothing quite like AP gold and esp a gold bezel, my ROC says a big hey too!

Thank you kindly guys, it sure is one purchase I'm very proud of (though I'm proud of all my watches, of course...).

I'll take more pictures later today!

I feel like I must post a little something in this thread to thank a friend of mine. David Farkas, also known as perpetualman88, knew about my desire to purchase an Audemars Piguet watch and I sent him a few private messages over the past weeks to discuss about it. Although I didn't buy it from him, the man was very kind, knew how to treat me with respect and has had a patience that was out of this world! He gave me great advice and I wouldn't hesitate a second to do business with him, thank you my friend!

And here's the last set of pictures.

Peeking out of a sleeve (though it's not a shirt...).

Hand in jeans' pocket...

Until next time, I'm off!

Congratulations, but not my style. I'm not into watches long enough to appreciate this I guess.

Does this model has a story behind it, was it some kind of milestone in the history of watchmaking or in AP's history? Just trying to understand why it's special.

Thanks.

Thank you for your comment, I bought this watch because I really found it nice and it was something I wanted to add to my collection but I'm afraid that's all I can say about it. It doesn't mean anything more than that and wasn't bought to celebrate anything, I just liked it.

Thank you and I agree, it's very, very thin and I realize the joke in my first post with the Fedex notice is actually not that far from the actual thickness of the watch...
