Never really liked gold....

I never really liked gold until I tried this Daytona on while browsing before dinner reservations. I'm not sure what triggered me to try this one on as I have seen it before but for some reason it really caught my eye this time. I already have my "next watch" picked out so it wont be in my collection anytime soon but I can see myself buying it some day.

I also used to never like gold - tacky, dated, etc. And then you try one on and realize the allure and feeling of wearing gold. I wish I could afford one some day. Sigh.

I don't think I could pull off a DD or DJ, but I could see myself wearing an all gold Sub(non C).

I would add one caveat. It would be a further improvement if that dial (Paul Newman style) was available in brown with the arabic numbers in a contrasting lume and a ceramic bezel

There is not much in life as good as a solid gold Rolex.

I might be in the minority here but I would like it better with the ceramic bezel.

Yellow gold still scared me. Rose gold is fine with me but not yellow gold.

pffft....I wasn't too crazy about gold either looking at pictures on line.....and then you go into a store and pick up that Daytona you speak of or the GMT2c in 18k gold and bamm!

A solid gold watch, a solid gold Rolex to be precise is some serious business right there.
I commend all you guys who are able to have one.

Craig, you've got a few watches in your profile so its def a possibility if you trade them and add a bit of cash
