Which is dressier
Though both are very versatile, which to you think is dressier and better in a more formal setting (both in SS): RO 41mm or DJ II

That's a very tough one but I think I'd go with an RO.

The RO is shinier so I'd go DJ.

Tough call but I'd think the DJ2 is a little dressier.

I think DJ2 is a bit more dressier, and the RO more versatile.

IMO the ro is the all around nicer watch, but the fluted dj2 is dressier

Thanks for the feedback. The RO is more of a stretch on the budget. I like them both. But since I have a couple Rolex already I am seriously considering the RO to add a bit more diversity. I wish I could have both!

pretty equal, i guess. i prefer the smooth bezel DJII over the fluted DJII, but the RO over the smooth bezel DJII.

Think 15400 has great dress up OR down appeal to it.

While the dj might be ever so slightly more suited to formal attire.
If you already have a few Rolex, the fundamentals of them are basically the same, so your only really getting a slight alteration. AP is a clear winner in this instance as your getting a significantly more interesting piece to add to your collection. ![]() |

IMHO, the DJ2 fluted is dressier/far classier. I just don't care for the square-ness of the RO 15400. Personal choice, I know, but there it is...

Both are nice, but a Royal Oak is a Royal Oak!
