Wonderful pal. How are you and the family? The Pittsburgh Steelers (my favorite football football team) just pulled off an upset victory over the Indianapolis Colts to earn a spot next week in the AFC Championship game. Plus I just opened my second bottle of Kendall-Jackson. So life is good. Kelly and I went out to get a bite to eat last night and had a good time. This morning we watched Wedding Crashers on DVD. I ROTF through the whole movie. It's that funny. So, how's everything with you?

Football? Is this the game in which guys in leotards and body armor run with a pigskin? This is one of the reasons I don’t understand the word ‘football’. Now our football (your soccer) is, well, football. A ball played with the feet. Makes sense, doesn’t it? I don’t care much for the game to be honest but during the World Championships I turn into a raving madman, and follow every match by the Dutch side. (Go, Orange, go).

Well, I still have the back-ache and tomorrow I have to start working again after two weeks off. I repaired our dryer and the TV connection in the bedroom (a man always has chores to do, sigh ). Anne’s made her mind up: we will travel to Indonesia in 2007 to visit her old aunt and to have a long vacation there. My father in law is there now and will stay there for 3 months. He has a house there and I guess there will come a time that he will not return anymore. We will see. Anne’s fine but Kayleigh has a rash all over and will visit our doctor tomorrow. Take care.

Hope Kayleigh's rash isn't anything serious. Take care of that back. It can trouble you the rest of your life if you're not careful. I am off tomorrow. It's a national holiday in the states. So does Indoniesa in 2007 mean no NYC in 2006?

Well, that looks like it. The tickets alone are $4000 for the 3 of us. And we don't want to burden the family with our stay, so we need some pocket money as well. I've never been there but it's a great country. I'll hit the sack now, see ya tomorrow

Singapore fine city have a visit to Clark key at night some great food and very cheap down by the river.Only been to Eastern Java around Surabaya quite a large busy city quite a good Zoo for Orang Utangs and Komodo Dragon.Malang a very nice clean town, and one of the best sunrises I have ever seen from the Bromo volcano, and Sukamade Turtle Beach is like Paradise beautiful turquoise water some good diving. The Meru Betiri Reserve if you are very lucky you might spot a Tiger, and the beach at Pasir Putih Situbondo highly recommended some great seafood restaurants. You will find some great wood carvings but must haggle hard to get the best price. Its a long old fligh tbut well worth it,but alas my long haul flights days are now over.

It's the long flights that I don't like. I have to be able to stand up and walk around a lot otherwise my knees start to hurt like hell. Been to NYC 4 times and 3 of them were with Singapore Airlines. The best service we ever had and roomy seats. And a great bar

Yes Frans first time I went to Bali we flew with Malaysian airway via KL.It was a terrible long journey,on the way home our flight was delayed for 12 hours at KL and there is only so much you can do in a bloody airport for 12 hours. On return visit used Singapore airlines, excellent airline and used them then for all my far east trips.
