Incoming .. And it's not a DJ this time

So I was on the Rolex website this past weekend and I saw a watch that I am unable to live without. It's the new RG DD with president bracelet and oxford diamond dial and diamond bezel. Reference number 118935 BR. I don't know if anyone has seen it but it is the first watch that shows when you go to Rolex.com .. Only difference is that I am getting the president insetad of the oyster. Pictures of the unboxing as well as wrist shots will come once the watch arrives. I'm really excited for this one.

And I also have a TT 1505. Although it is a "date" and not a datejust, it is very close to a DJ so I will include it in the count.

Also in my collection is a 14010 AK as well as a 16613 and a Masterpiece with diamond dial and bezel.

I spoke with a good friend of mine who is a AD in SC. She is placing the order with Rolex tomorrow and I should know something after she places the order.

Well to be fair, two of the watches in my collection were given to me. One as a gift and the other inheritance. It is safe to say that the TT DJ is my favorite Rolex out of the entire collection.

I have considered a Sky Dweller as well as a RG Daytona on a strap. I also started to buy a platinum dd but I changed my mind. I always fall back on the TT DJ's on a jubilee. I love my Masterpiece and I wear it on special occasions. My TT Sub is a great watch and I decided to keep it over the DSSD.

I have such a difficult time making up my mind when it comes to buying watches. I always fall back on what I am most comfortable with. That is why I am looking forward to getting this new dd. It is something unique and it will remain that way for many years.

I'll see if I can find a pic of the watch. I will post the pic for the benifit of the members who may not know what the 118935 looks like. Naturally I will be posting lots of pics of my actual watch once it arrives. The unboxing pics as well as the wrist shots are always my favorite pics to take.

Can't wait for the unboxing. I will admit, that if I'm going to collect a particular model line lineage, it'll likely be the DJ. I just love them to bits.
