Panerai Luminor Vintage strap. Very cool look.
Just wanted to share a new strap that is a bit unusual. Its a Panerai Luminor Vintage strap in black. Its a calf skin strap but has a bit of a rough texture to it but is very playable.. Its tough to get a good pic to capture the color but it is a distresst black with underlining shades of brown. Very rustic Italian look.

The texture looks very similar to the second strap that comes with the 372 which I love (and have installed on my 305)

I love this strap - comes in brown and tan also. The brown is very dark and pretty close to the black. Haven't seen the tan yet.

Looks great. The strap is surprisingly supple and flexible for its thickness. I suspect the vintage black can be worn with black or brown attire as it seems to change hue in different light. Panerai hit it out of the park with this strap.
FYI, here is the link to strap info: http://www.panerai.com/en/accessorie...uminor-vintage

AD threw this in when I bought my 422. I think it is the same. I really like it!

Love the look of this strap. I'll be interested to hear how it ages.

Absolutely love this. First saw it on a 510, and I am looking for something just like it for my 233. Can I purchase this strap online anywhere? Maybe I will have to go to an AD in the Orlando area.

I haven't seen it online. I purchased mine from another Panerai owner that just bought it and then traded his Pam on another watch so he was unloading his straps.

Thanks. It helps to see a few angles of a strap.

That also resembles a lot the strap that comes with the 510!

c/o perpetuelle and I'd also like to get one for my 233 I talked to John of D9 about it - he calls it "crackle leather" and he's already done one in brown c/o John@D9

Here's the tan strap on my PAM 112. I picked it up at the Palm Beach boutique while on vacation a year ago. It reminds me of the vintage bomber jackets with cracked lamb skin leather.

I shot John an email shortly after my post because I want one in black, but I'm still waiting on his feedback... I don't know who own the one pictured above; I took the photo from D9's blog...

It looks a lot like the strap on the 512.
