Question for steel Zenith Daytona owners

Can anyone provide some scans showing the full kit of boxes and accessories as supplied with a W series model 16520 Steel Daytona with the Zenith movement.

I recently purchased a W series and want to know if I have all the bits. I know the COSC certificate is missing but what else should I have.

I particularly want to see a picture of the boxes Rolex issued back then for these watches.

Cheers - Simon

I've had 3 of them, but since I don't have them anymore, the list below will be out of my memory.

Sorry, I don't have a pic, but the "Zenith" Daytona should first of all, it would have the "old-style" box. See this link to view how the old boxes looked like (however, there are some modifications, see below list).

The full package should consist of:
  • Outer cardboard sleeve (white).
  • Greenish cardboard box (see link)
  • Inner box (green box that does NOT have the gold lining and gold Rolex coronet on the lid and also not the plastic waves on it. Either with cushion or buckle inside. Like the secondlast pic in the above link)
  • The TT Daytona (now, that comes as a surprise, doesn't it?!)
  • Wrapper around the cushion (microfibre)
  • Hangtag, green with serial number on it
  • COSC "Red Seal" hangtag
  • Old-style paper certificate
  • Booklet "Your Rolex Oyster" + "The Rolex Daytona Booklet".
  • Booklet: "Translation" (the COSC specs in various languages)

Thanks Bo, another great link.

It looks like I have the correct box (with the "C" clip). I also have the hang tag "Rolex Cosmograph Daytona" instruction book. The COSC paper and green rectangle serial tag are missing but I do have an international service guarantee which states the watch serial number dated late 2004. I have just bought a translation booklet on ebay so I must be pretty close to a full set. A shame about the COSC cert but the watch is near perfect so I can't complain.

Thanks once again for your help. I have no idea where you find all the information you provide but I'm very glad that you do.

Cheers - Simon
