The switch to sapphire will definately affect the value, since it would not be original at that point. Nothing wrong weith an acrylic crystal at all...many Sea-Dwellers and Subs managed to retain water resistance with them. Advantage is, they can be polished if scratched.
Dial curl is probably not because of the missing case clamp, and MAY be fixable. If it is just paint peeling up, it can be fixed in place with a small amount of clear fingernail polish or even superglue.
Your watchmaker should be able to fix you up.
