Rolex Oysterdate Precision 6694 coronet ?
Hello everybody,
I just bought a vintage rolex from 1967 : it is an Oysterdate Precision 6694. The serial number and the bottom case number are matching the manufacturing year. The watch seems original in all points, but I have a doubt about the dial and especially the rolex coronet. Please see the picture attached. I know there are quite some difference between the coronet shapes throughout the production years, but I never seen one like this one. It looks like a "bart simpson" coronet but I thought it could only be found on submariners ? Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers, G. |

Looks just fine to me. Pictures are a little too blury to see the font well enough to say its original but I'd say the dial plate itself is fine.

Genuine Rolex dial, but repainted...
OYSTERDATE is sloping upwards towards the right. Lettering is not best quality. MW |

The hands appear to be later replacements.

Refinished dial, incorrect hands. Otherwise, it's a nice little Rolex.
