Silver and yellow gold band on yellow gold watch

Bought my wife our first Rolex which is a DateJust 69168. I fell in love with it's champagne Roman Numeral dial and smooth bezel. Plus the price was right! :-)

The issue is that the watch is yellow gold and my wife's engagement and wedding rings are white gold.

I'm hoping to make the rings and watch match with either a stainless and yellow gold band or a white/very light colored leather band.

The watch wears a 13mm band so not a ton of choices.

Suggestions please! The watch needs to be worn and not live on a shelf....

Just get her a gold ring to wear with it! Great watch!

Hey thanks! I really like the watch but I love the rings so shelving them is not going to happen!

I didn't mean chuck them away or anything, maybe just a yellow gold alternative to wear with the watch. I'm sure a suitable 2-tone bracelet or a nice strap would also work well.

would it look ok on a white gold bracelet ,,, try photo shopping it and see , or a tricolour bracelet maybe ,,, love the dial , its one of the most cluttered dials rolex does , but it looks so clean and simple

Tested the gold ring and it clutters up her hand because she already has the wedding and engagement rings (and never takes them off). Fast and free test though so good thought!

Photoshop is something I'll have to try although not sure I would be very good at it.

As far as the dial being cluttered- I'll take that with the clean and simple in the same sentence!

These are both good ideas! Thanks!

I'm sure there are others out in RolexForumsland that have ran into a similar situation...and have pics to prove it!

Anyone have pics of a yellow gold rolex with a stainless and yellow gold band?
