For sale is this near mint Swiss Roamer Pasadena 733 model manufactured in 1969. The dating is fairly precise, as the 7733 movement was not introduced until 1969, and the labeling of “Waterproof” was prohibited after 1969. This example of the Pasadena is in magnificent original condition, with only the slightest indications of wear or age after 45 years. The serviced movement is pristine and all functions operate flawlessly. You will notice from the photos that the Pasadena, like the Roamer Stingray, was constructed in modular fashion for exceptional water resistance, rated “Waterproof” at the time for 400 feet.

This Pasadena’s stainless steel case looks almost brand new, with hardly a mark or any evidence of age. The dial is near mint with only the slightest patina evident. The crystal shows no obvious marks. The pushers and original signed crown are in excellent condition. The only area of wear is the outside of the case back, where the factory engraving is getting difficult to read.

Roamer chronographs from this period were generally equipped with intricately-designed NSA (Novavit S.A.) folded steel bracelets, and this one is a treasure. In excellent vintage condition, the clasp secures crisply and will fit a wrist up to about 7-3/4 inches, including the extra link.
