Got complemented on my Invicta - LOL!
So I was waiting in line at a gas station, wearing my GMT, when another guy complemented me on my Invicta! I was kind of puzzled for a second, not knowing what the hell he was talking about, when I remember Invicta makes Rolex clones and he must have been talking about my watch. At my puzzled look, he looked closer at my watch and said, "Wait, that's not an Invicta... What is it?" I held out my wrist to show it to him, in a nice, humble, non d***head way, and he was surprised and wowed. We talked a little more for a minute and then went our ways.
PS: I have to admit, I have seen the Invicta Sub and Daytona clones at Sam's Club and they are very nice for the money. Plus, they do not say Rolex so they are not actually a fake. |

I had the Invicta 9937 I think... It was a great watch... 27 Jewel, sweeping movmt, swiss movt. (not made).
Solid bracelet and all for around $300. Great beater! But, wasn't a Rolex
