Got my SS date sub Tudor to start with... loved it... it's now on my step-sons wrist doing what it does best while repairing heavy equipt in Kuwait and my SD is on the commerical fishing vessel thats in my avatar! scrapped/scratched? yep they sure are, nothing on purpose just normal wear and tear!

A good watchmaker can also polish/remove the scratches for a nominal fee, if waiting for RSC service is too long for some guys.

Relax, TZL. Mine even got a ding on the bezel from wearing it to sleep. I guess dings and scratches are part of the deal in enjoying a watch. Take care and enjoy your 'superlative' tool. (Ooops no pun intended).
