DJII Grey Dial, Roman Numerals - any LOVE?
I think this watch is stunning. Any owners or future owners out there? I'm supposed to go by the AD tomorrow to pick up a GMT, but I'm beginning to think I may buy this one.

Two very different watches...what else is in your stable? Which GMT?

Lots of love for the fluted bezel version. I felt the bezel added more dimension to the watch. This is probably my favorite Rolex; especially for the price.

Beauty! I'd buy one if it were 2-3 mm smaller. The case wears kind of big for dressier watch, well, at least on my 7 inch wrist.

That's beautiful. The fluted bezel is sharp. I'm choosing the domed bezel to keep a dressy and sporty look. At least that is the way my mind and style works. The fluted is bad a$$ though. I'll have to take a second peek.

I absolutely love this watch but the 9 stick is a deal breaker for me

IMHO, this is Rolex's most beautiful DJ2, bar none. And a firm favourite in my collection. How can it gets better than this?

I debated the same thing. I went with fluted because I feel it adds a little more "class" to the watch, and it still works as a bit "sporty" too.

I like it, but I prefer the GMTs. It's what you prefer that matters to you!

Beautiful watch. I would go with the fluted bezel.

When I first became interested in the DJII, that was the dial that I chose (with the fluted bezel); however, the dial is flat (as opposed to gloss) and it didn't quite pop enough for me, so after a month or so I ended up trading it for the Blue/Stick and I couldn't be happier. Regardless of which dial you choose, the DJII is a fantastic watch and one of my all-time favorites.

I prefer the blue or black sticks dial or the GMT.

Love DJ II's, but I prefer the white/ivory stick dials the best. The blue stick dial is nice too.

X2. If they put a roman numeral at the 9 I'd be all over this watch. The stick ruins the dial symmetry for me.

My fave DJ2 dial is the white stick and I have one. TBH I hate the look of that grey dial because of the white stick on 9, just not easy on the (my) eyes and not a good design by Rolex.

I think it's amazing. Honestly between the two I personally would go with the GMT. It's really close though. Looks great

I love the white stick on the nine. To me, it adds symmetry to the watch since the date function across from it is the same shape. Plus it helps make it easier to tell time when I have to rely on the lume of the watch.

Thats a really lovely watch. :-)
Are you planning on an all black GMT? If so....this is how you work it.... 1. Get the all black GMT that you might have already been planning.. 2. Then get the DJ II blue with white sticks (my favourite) or romans with smooth bezel. Voila. I love the fluted bezel but it does cost quite a bit more. 3. Buy from a trusted seller here...and save more money. :-D LOL LOL Then you have 2 watches... Because....you ARE going to end up with more than one anyway...especially if you hang out here. LOL |

I just love the djII in any iterations. Lots of amazing combos of dials/bezels/markers to choose from.
