I've Found the chance to try both on wrist.
Sorry for the mobile phone bad photos.

And...............

I went for the expected. fully agree there's no contest for Panerai....

The stock managed to arrive just in time to accompany my Lunar New Year celebration during the next few days.

Absolutely love the black Matt dial with orange touch and the gold rotor in the display back...

just to say, the 508 looked really good on you. don't let the enthusiasm for AP on this board take away from that watch. it's awesome in its own right, just not comparable to your incredible new watch.

I only have a 6.6inch wrist and 42mm sure feel a better fit after owning the the 44mm novelty for the past 10 months.
