Tanjoubi Omedetou!

What a wonderful present from father to Son!

I was wearing my GMTIIC when my Son was born. I intend to give it to him when he turns 21.

Congrats! and what an awesome present to get from your dad.
By the way being in Guam right now isn't bad either.
When I was in the Air Force , I was stationed at Andersen Air Force Base in Guam and after 3 months I got Island Fever and wanted off of the thing. I got some relief when I had a short TDY to Kadena Air Force Base in Okinawa, Japan.

Your father has great taste. AP and Piaget. I've always liked both brand.

The island is beautiful but I must say, they need some major face lifting to the "resorts" to compete with Hawai'i's Waikiki. The water and beaches are absolutely stunning, but the hotels aren't in the shape to warrant their rates. Maybe it's the humidity but every structure needed a paint job. That being said, for a 3 hour flight from Japan it's nice and warm, and I felt at home having eaten about 5 meals at Hard Rock Cafe...LOL

My mom lived on island as a navy brat, I can't believe she spent two years there!

Haha if I ever do an "incoming" thread with a white Diver, please petition for my removal from the Forum.

Thanks! I don't understand the Piaget thing but he's from a different era... Even his Pateks are very small and not for my wrists. If only my grandpa kept his Royal oak he used to wear....

You've got to try an Altiplano! There's something very liberating about wearing such a thin timepiece. Piaget at one point had the thinnest mechanical movement in the world.
