Good point! All I know is that in my instance, buying the piece sight unseen because I liked the look and then selling it later because it didn't fit me right cost me a lot of money. After that experience I never purchased a watch again without first having it on my wrist. I have been fortunate enough to have friends, relatives, business acquaintances, etc. who luckily owned the watches that I have wanted to purchase. And they were kind enough to let me try them on. Perhaps the OP can examine his circle of friends for someone with an AP who might be kind enough to let him try it on first?

In my experience the way the watch keeps itself centered lends itself to an easier fitment, i.e. since it stays so well balanced you can wear it a tad bit looser than other watches without it flopping around excessively. OP could verify this is the case for him by trying one on and if so he's got nothing to worry about.

Weight-wise it feels lighter on wrist than it is, probably because smaller case (height) and fatter bracelet (due to case through design) give it a less head-centric weight distribution, so the pressure is not centered all in one spot as with, for example, a Rolex 16600 which has heavy head and light bracelet.
