Beverly Hills GTG Trip Report
Thanks to mruhland31 for organizing a great event last Saturday. All of us appreciated the food, camaraderie and the watches! You're a true gentleman!
About 15 of us met for lunch. Those of us in attendance each received a small Casebudi and lottery ticket! Afterwards we walked to several watch stores on Rodeo Drive. Mruhland31 had phoned each store to let them know we were arriving. The first stop was Geary's, a Rolex and Patek AD. One of the sales reps greeted us and had some Rolex trivia for us. For each correct answer we received a Rolex pen. Several of us also received a copy of the first Rolex Magazine and were shown several editions of the Mondani books. We then went to the AD's for the following: IWC, JLC, Panerai and finally VC. A quick stop in several other stores ended the day. Here are some pictures from the event. It was great meeting TRF members. We also realized there were several of us on another forum involving a different hobby!

Thank you so much for those kinds words. I'm so glad that everyone enjoyed the gtg. For those that weren't there a little info on the lottery tickets. I love TRF and the people who make it such a great place. If I could I would have bought everyone a new Rolex for coming. Since that's far from a reality I thought I would do the next best thing and give everyone a chance to win the cash to buy one. A little silly but it's what I could afford lol. For the post above I'm the one wearing the purple shirt. Let's do it again soon!!!!!
