I think the black has better contrast and would be easier to read. I'd keep the black.

I would keep the black and get a Explorer II with a white dial or even better a YM II. Cheers.....🍻🍻

Black makes perfect sense especially considering the beautiful white dialed DJ you own.

I'd keep the white, since the Daytona wears a little smaller! the white just looks a little bit larger to my eye.

Tough choice.......

for me personally, I'd keep the white without hesitation. Both are beauts though.

Can I ask why you have bought two stainless steel Daytona's? Why not just but a new dial?

Also my vote goes to white as it's new and looks great with the new blue lume!

I needed to see them in person side by side and it's easy to trade a Daytona so I bought both to be 100% sure , now I'm selling the brand new white dial with stickers on in the for sale section.

So you spent £7950 just to see them side by side? Is the black brand new as well? Apparently Rolex allow you to change dial for free in the first 3 months of buying one

Then I'd sell both and order some more.

The black is the greatest looking chrono I've ever seen in my life. Makes me want to scream.

For me I find Rolex white dials are better vs glare/flare, fingerprints, etc therefor easier to read at a glance

Whilst I'm happy with the black I am looking to get the best of both worlds and get this fitted with red sub dial hands:

I will of course keep the black dial and hands and if and when I fancy changing back to the black dial I'll have my watchmaker do it!

As above I'm getting a white panda dial and keeping the black so I can do 6 months of each with just the one watch, problem solved

Gary, congratulations on your new watch. As much as I prefer the white, I agree having the black would add some variety round to your collection so far. I have 1 white dial and 1 black dial..I won't repeat the colours. These watches aren't cheap.

Enjoy!
