Assessment of GMT 16710
Looking to potentially buy a 16710 F-serial and would appreciate a quick assessment. Particularly the bracelet seems to have been oddly/unevenly polished at the bottom part of the bracelet or is it just me? Nothing a new polish can't fix, but curious about opinions.
Feedback appreciated!

I could care less about a perceived difference in polishing of the bracelet. I think the GMT-II is a fantastic watch, but I may be biased since my all black Y-series gets at least 90% of my wrist time. If you can pick up that beauty at a reasonable price, do it. Just MHO.

Thanks for chipping in. I think the high res pics may be making things look worse than they are. E.g it seems like the brushed polishing of the bracelet has been done using a lower grain abrasive than it should, making it look rougher than the 78790A bracelet on my 16570. But I will check when I physically inspect it.
Recently I've gone off on a shopping spree for a few more of the non ceramic models. Just added a 16610, a 14060M and possibly this 16710

I have no issues with polishing nor scratches (even if very few will show up on my watches). However, as you mentioned it has to be done correctly and this is what I am questioning here. I will be able to tell when I see it IRL.

Fine watch head and with minimal work the bracelet could be perfect. If the price is right (based on last service also), I would say go forward with the deal. Good luck.
