Newbie looking for recommendations

Hi guys,

I've recently become enamored by Panerai watches, and am looking to acquire my first piece (willing to look at current or discontinued models).

After doing some initial research, I find myself partial to models with simple dials (preferably 12-3-6-9, with or without seconds) that echo the earlier Radiomir versions.

I've come across the PAM232, which looks to fit the bill perfectly based on the look of the watch. That said, I fear a 47mm case will be too big for my relatively small wrist.

So I'm curious if there are any other smaller models (44mm or below) that have a similar look and feel.

Would appreciate any help. Thanks!

Forgot to mention I'd prefer a stainless steel case, and a manual wind movement...

The 232 does wear smaller than its 47mm size would suggest.

I've owned both 210 and now 232. 232 dial color and hands are the best there is IMHO. The most undervalued Panerai out there.

My wrist is 6.5" btw.

Thanks Mik! Both your 210 and 232 look amazing. I'm definitely interested in the 210. Just not sure how I could see it in person since the model is now discontinued.

going for a rad is one of the easiest choices to make.

look at the historic models only. thats probably the only thing you need.

232 was too big for my wrist. i looked like a clown.

historic rads are very nice for dress watches imho

Thanks for all the feedback/suggestions! Really like the simple/clean look of the Radiomirs, so leaning toward the 210. That said, if a 47 mm model doesn't look too big on my 6.5" wrist, I'd certainly consider a 232. I also came across the limited edition 449 SLC which looks fantastic!

If it´s your first Pam and price is not a problem, I say go Luminor not Radiomir, much more original, in 44mm the 233 is great, if you want a 47mm, the 217 is a legendary pam, but if you really prefer rads go for it, nice watches also. Good luck on your choice...
