Think it is Chopard mille miglia, Lisa. Looks too big for PN Daytona which is 35/36mm.

I think you are correct, he was wearing one of those before and I did see a close up of it, that has to be it.

Thanks, guys. I was almost certain it was a Daytona. Handsome watch, anyway.

And hey - what did you think of Paul Potts!??? Mind boggling!

Found a pic. There was a British Film out recently about Paul Potts story, called One Chance. Not seen it myself, but keep an eye out for it Lisa, you might like.

Thanks Wes! That's got to be it. Good find.

Yes, I'd like to see the movie. I follow Paul Potts on Facebook and there's some info about the movie there as well. He's such a nice person - very unassuming and fame has not gone to his head in the least. He was talking last week about being afraid to have his wisdom teeth out.

Don't believe it, Wes. Money can buy happiness and a lot of money can buy a lot of happiness (I've been told).

That old saying that money can't buy happiness. That's something rich people came up with so the poor people wouldn't feel so bad. If one is rich, and one is unhappy, one has mental problems, IMO.

Lisa,

Unfortunately, I can't get there today. Can you hold off dinner till tomorrow night and I'll be there?

I wish I could find out for myself if money will buy happiness ....it all depends on what side of the fence you are on.

My wife's family thinks we are rich....and her kids....I think we are a few months away from living under an overpass

I like the rubber straps on them watches, has a tire tread pattern.

I had 2 wisdom teeth out a couple years ago, only time I'd really been in hospital, had to be put under, as they were buried in the gum, impacted. So think they had to be smashed to pieces. Had a nice swollen jaw for a week.

So here are a couple of prelim shots... the chicken marinating and the peppers cooking... plus the guacamole which is almost squished up enough...

Come and get it, ya'll!

The peppers were really pretty good - I don't want to think about the fat content, though! My sinuses are clear, that's for sure.

Oh, you poor baby. Was anyone there to wipe your fevered brow?

My dad was a dentist and he pulled mine for me. Took me up to the office on a Saturday when I was in high school. Top two first, then lower two a couple weeks later. Not too eventful, luckily!

Thanks, Art - but your pizzas could not possibly be put to shame. They look totally scrumptious.

Do you cook rice often, Lisa? While the kids were growing up we had it at most every meal. S. Americans eat it with every meal. My son would even have it with spaghetti. He had to eat it every dinner or he didn't feel satisfied.

I make it pretty often, Art. Dave doesn't eat gluten, so I make rice instead of pasta with a lot of dishes - even spaghetti sauce with rice instead of noodles. The kids all like it, too. I don't blame the South Americans - rice is yummy!
