That's true, but only by 1mm. The fluted bezel does give it an appearance of being larger; however, I kind of look at them as both dressier watches. If my Daytona had a read hands configuration, it would definitely look more like a sports watch.

Tell me about it! I may need to take a break, and I wish I could be "banned" from the FS section!

Some of them I would have liked to keep, others I really just didn't like anymore, and these watches are too expensive to not love what you have. I hope to one day have a larger collection, but I am still relatively young (28) and will grow my collection over time. I just don't want too much money tied up in watches at this point in my life.

You mean deciding what you want gets harder? I was hoping as you go through more models that deciding would get easier!

You'd think so but wait until you think of the possibility of adding another brand, it will happen most likely. I mean as much as we love them, 100% of a collection doesn't have to be rolex

Yeah, JJ, only 1mm but it does look more like 2/3mm and as Rolex have updated the size of the DJ it is possible they might update the size of their chrono to a more modern size of 42mm. We don't talk about that a lot on this forum and many think the Daytona at 40mm is classic and untouchable, but if they can do it with the DJ and the Sub, with the maxi case, which are both even more classical, then it actually is a real possibility in the future with the modern direction Rolex are now moving in with the SkyD and YM2 etc.

It is nice to see that your journey was helpful to bring you to this point in your life
I am sure that the ride was as much fun as the destination

I am still on that path, so when I decide what stays and what goes I'll make sure to let you know as well

Congratulations!
