DateJust vs Day-date bracelet mix?

I know this might be blasphemous, but there are some budget issues in life.

I found a beautiful old bracelet for an old President (1803/1807). Unfortunately, finding a reasonably priced President is not so easy.

I am seeing some beautiful old DateJusts for about 1/4 of the price - and while i will someday manage the 1803, I was wondering if the President bracelet (bark) would fit on the DateJust. Both are 36mm...seemed reasonable - found an old post on bracelets where both the Datejust + Day-Date where listed together.

Figured it never hurts to ask

thanks.

It will fit but not very good as the endlinks are slightly different.

Not an exact fit as MonBK has shared.

I'd stay away from it myself. I have enough 'not quite perfect fit end links' in my stable, they bother me a little. I like the perfect fit and a Rolex demands perfection.

That's my take anyway.
