Wow that's very lucrative business and pretty decent ROI I would say. I'm completely in the wrong business. I know nothing about horses but how can I start?

Carl, do you know how to ride a horse? I think that's one of the prerequisites. I'm in trouble because I have never been on one, not even a donkey. Maybe CG can enlighten both of us and get both of us on the right track.

I've learned while playing The Legend Of Zelda on the Nintendo 64, does that count?

And you'll be hearing colorful Portuguese language across the desert mountains. I haven't told her that I got rid of my 116613 Blue Diamond Dial, her favorite, for a new incoming tomorrow. She loves my LVC though, that's a keeper. She's a keeper too
Hey Mark, from this post and your avatar, I'm guessing your wife/girlfriend is Brazilian. Great choice! where is she from in the country?

Actually, cheers on both accounts, as I love Vegas as well, will be there on the end of May/beginning of June.

Thankfully my wife has never engaged me in a conversation relating to size.

Remember I was saying a few pages back that my wife barely notices me, let alone what watch I'm wearing?

Well, yesterday I acquired an Explorer II, 216570.

Let me tell you - she noticed. Her words? "Geez, that's a really big watch."

I rode a horse a few years ago, it was the most painful 30 minutes of my life, no man should ride horses, only eunuchs.

If my significant other had a problem with my watch buying/collecting hobby - it's a deal breaker for sure hahah

Gosh I love this forum!!
Over in Australia, most guys just give me the weirdest look when I talk about watches and cars; collecting swiss watches, mechanical movements etc.
In my mind = Watch IS art. Beauty, history and mechanics all fitted into a small portable piece of wrist real-estate :)

I only wish there were more appreciators of this art around! :)
There can never be too many of us!

Sorry not to get back to you sooner, I haven't stopped in the last 2 weeks.

She is from Recife, born and raised. Moved to the U.S. in 1990, received her citizen ship papers around 1995. Me, I want to move to Recife lol and I hope to in the next few years .

She's speaks better English then I speak Portuguese. I love it though, they sit around speaking all that language and I just lie in the hammock on the patio over looking the beach. It's right on Boa Viagem Avenue in a condominium. I can throw a rock off the 4th patio and hit the beach.

My wife supports my hobby but only once in a while when a new comes along. So I try to keep up the notion that only the ones that are noticed are actually the only new ones !
