New watch?

So I've got a question for all of he more experienced rolex owners out there. I purchased my first rolex about 8 months ago-14060M 2-line Z serial sub for a fair price preowned in overall nice condition, box, booklet but no papers. I'm already getting the itch for an upgrade/new purchase all together. I'll probably lose a fair amount on trade in and don't dislike the current watch just like the new ceramics better. Should I hold on to the watch I have until I feel like I got enough use out of it to justify the loss when I eventually trade up or should I pull the trigger now and trade in? Thanks

You can "get the most" out of your current watch and wait for the SubC preowned prices to come down some more...

Now way!

You got the ultimate rolex! Discontinued, two liner and pure design. I would keep it and enjoy it for years to come. Save money for a future purchase and have a variety!

Get the new ceramic model first then decide which you'll keep.

BNIB 14060M is very difficult to find. Trust me, I've asked just about every trusted seller on this forum. Good luck with your decision.

You have a great discontinued Sub. There is no upgrade from there, only additions to the family! You can get a SubC for years to come, but what you have is special. Really give it some thought.

Try on the 114060 and see if you like it, then ask what you'd get on trade. Sleep on it and go from there

I would also say keep what you have and add the sub-c. However, if you're a one watch guy, and the sub-c is it, then don't wait. Keeping a watch just to justify the loss doesn't really make sense. Chances are you'll end up paying more for the sub-c down the road, whether new or used, as prices historically only trend one way, and that's up.
