FOR SALE: 1968 GMT-Master 1675, case back dated IV 68, serial number 2011XXX

This gorgeous, very original, 45-year-old GMT-Master has a full, beautiful case with a few minor nicks and scratches, minimal case polishing, shows well for its age and was clearly taken care of during several decades of use. This is one of the finest 1675 GMTs that I have owned the past several years and due to a few other purchases lately, it is time to let a few of the GMTs go.

The watch was recently serviced (8/2012), and comes with its original Mark I dial and hands that have a light yellow patina. (One of the hands was repaired during the service.) The “fat font” bezel insert has a nice, even fade, and is free from scratches and blemishes and compliments the gorgeous case. The case has very fat lugs and very nice chamfers that have not been re-cut or altered. The serial number and model number are clearly visible between the lugs and free from corrosion marks/pits which are often found on these older watches. This is a very nice, well-cared-for GMT for the serious collector or first time buyer. Nice GMTs in this condition have appreciated very well the past several years and should continue to do so in the future – weather worn daily or for occasional wear.

The bracelet is an original, USA oval-link Jubilee bracelet in excellent condition with very minimal stretch. There are no date codes and it is marked USA.

WARRANTY: The movement comes with a six months warranty. The buyer is responsible for the return shipping expenses.

PRICE/RETURNS: $7000 plus shipping. Returns are only accepted if the watch is not as described and must be returned to me within three days of receipt with the buyer responsible for return shipping. Shipping only to the USA and Canada. No paypal at this time.
