Incoming Mix + Match Monday!

I have been stuck on how much I loved the white gold bark on the old Presidents - but also kept thinking that I would forever be trying to get the day/date in sync since I probably wouldn't be wearing it every day.

So I decided to make my own combination. I know purists will not be excited, but i really liked the DJ dial...not to mention how much less the 1601 costs compared to the 1803. There is a little flaw above the crown that I didn't see at first, but i don't really have any expectations of this increasing in value - I'm just a fan.

everything arrived over the weekend

Could not live with that endlink fitment, but really like your idea. Glad you are enjoying it...that's all that matters.

Thanks...I brought it to a watch repair guy who used to work for Rolex. He explained the end-link fit issue and looked a little uneasy as well.

Perhaps over time it will bug me - maybe motivate me to pick up a President - but for now, i like getting to wear the band and like the way they both shine!
