cape cod polishing cloth for rolex sea dweller bracelet?

i have a 16600 rolex sea dweller with the typical light scratches on the bracelet is using the cape cod polishing cloth on the bracelet a good idea? Or should i just leave the small scratches in the bracelet? I wont be using the cloth on the watch itself just the bracelet. thanks in advance!

NO...the Cape Cod is only for polished surfaces. You would want to use a green scotch-brite pad if you wanted to touch up the brushed surfaces of your bracelet.

Agree... do NOT use the CC on the brushed surfaces, only on the polished surface.

For shallow dings on brushed metal, do you recommend using Scotchbrite or is the latter only for light scratches?

It will make your SD shiny. I wouldn't do anything at all to it.
