Need Help Identifying band.
First I would like to introduce myself. My name is James and have been enjoying reading all the posts. You make this forum an invaluable tool.
My short story about my Rolex 5513. When I was a about 15 years old circa 1975, I had a job at a Dairy Queen. I use to go in in the mornings and clean up and take out the trash, basically get everything ready for the day. One morning I found a Rolex Sub 5513. The black plastic band had broken. My dad convinced me that $100.00 bucks was a good deal so I took the C-note. LOL. Well over the years I began to covet the watch I had found many years ago. Several years ago my father passed and the watch came back to me. I receintly had it overhauled and made nice. As I was going through my old things I remember that I had taken the stainless band off because it was damaged and just replaced it with a cheap plastic band. Well I found the stainless band and was wondering if A. this was an original band? It is thin like the ad below. B. How can I get it restored? C. Who is trustworthy? The band is thin as in this ad Thank you |

Appears to be a Swiss 9315 which is missing the foldover clasp and end links. The last link should have 9315 stamped on it.

Are you missing the end pieces that attach to the case? Or are they on that black bracelet? should be marked 280, 380 etc. stamped on them.
Michael Young can restore bracelet for you in Hong Kong. Do a search under bracelet restoration on the forum. Or purchase a nice 93150 (bracelet that came after the 9315) and is a better wear imho for everyday use. they pop up for sale on the forum many times. luck M |
