Icon14 FSOT: Omega Seamaster 1000m "Grand" 166.093 - ALL ORIGINAL - $6750

Here's one you don't see everyday. Don't be mistaken; this isn't your run-of-the-mill WatchCo rebuild.

Up for sale is an original, Bienne serviced, Omega 166.093 "Grand". The rarely seen sibling of some of the other iconic Omega dive watches of the 70's (like the PloProf), the SM1000 has long been a "grail" in the dive watch community. This is evidenced by the numerous modern watches that copy the design exactly. And it's no mistake. It's a perfectly designed functional dive watch. Legible dial/hand combo, easy to grip bezel, extreme water resistance, and destro crown (for comfort on the wrist).

Beyond the pure excellence in design of this watch, the rarity really puts it over the top. Even when you include WatchCo rebuilds, these are scarce at best. To find one in amazing shape with original parts is unheard of.

This one is in fantastic shape. It looks unpolished or at most, very lightly polished. Original sunburst finish, sharp case lines, and all original details remain. The dial is in amazing shape (any marks are dust on the crystal). No corrosion evident at all. The bezel has amazing patina to the numerals, further setting this watch apart from the modern rebuilds/frankens.

This watch has been recently serviced by both Bienne and Jack at IWW and this can be corroborated by a well-known forumer. Sale includes Omega mesh.

My price is $6750 NET (shipped). Payment via wire preferred. Paypal, cashier's check, or money order okay, but you cover fees based on your choice of form of payment. I will cover shipping and insurance within CONUS. I have countless references on numerous forums for many high-dollar transactions. Contact me with any questions.

All trades considered.
