I think both could be excellent choices Wes. The Datejust may be more sparkly given the brighter colors but the Speedmaster is bigger so it's easier to notice on your wrist, I'd say go with what you think looks better with what you're going to wear.

I wish you a lot of fun on your date, let us know how it goes.

Don't get me started on what to wear, I don't have a clue

Cheers Carl will do.

I would wear the DJ, but more importantly have a wonderful time.

What to wear. Hilfiger dress shirt, long sleeve of course and untucked. Hilfiger jeans, Air Jordan 360max shoes, you can go any where like that.

It can be hard to think about those details at times...

Thanks Art, I like your style(apart from the air jordans)

I don't want it to look like I've made too much effort, as that would be deceptive.

Looking spontaneous and natural takes a lot of work...

Wes has a date, you say? Where are you going? Drinks and dinner, or a movie?

Dawna, good to hear from you. Is your remodel project going to show up on HGTV soon?

Bas, Happy Birthday! Hope you have an excellent day.

The crocus are blooming on the front lawn and my tulip and daffodil bulbs are coming up... thank goodness it looks like spring is finally going to get here. Time to think about reclaiming part of the back yard for a little garden - will have to fence out the hens, who have made quite a mess of things.

Hi Lisa, just drinks I think, gotta meet at 6pm in London. Dinner with a complete stranger....argh...I hope not.

A friend from someone at work, but I've only seen a pic and been txting. So I haven't got high expectations (not because of her, but just getting on) What's the chances she's the right one for me, 1 in a million. But suppose I should go along.

Now what to wear, choices are a black t-shirt with a snake and skull on the front. A plain navy shirt, think it has a dinner stain on it(it has been washed) or some grey jumper thingy.

Can't get to the Hilfiger shop this late in the day Art

I like to wear a formal shirt under a plain pullover longsleeved sweater, goes great with jeans and sneakers.

Just relax and be your self, just build on the things you've been texting about. At first you will be nervous but very quickly it will probably be like you've always known each other. She will be nervous too. But remember if she didn't want to be there she wouldn't. Just show interest in what she talks about. Can't wait to here how it goes.

Cheers Art, haven't been on a date in a while. Anyone know if things have changed since? i.e. protocol stuff, do the guys still pay for stuff.

I would insist on paying. She may feel more comfortable paying for her self. But I couldn't let a lady pay.

So Wes, is it going to be the DateJust or the Speedy? I personally would go for the speedy because it's on a strap and it's excellent for going under the radar if you know what I mean.

Hi guys, well although the date was fine and chat was pleasant, don't think it will go further, different people I guess. Bit disappointed.

I'm sorry to read that Wes. I'm still glad to read you had fun last night, it may have not worked but it's better than having a horrible evening.
