Rolex tudor question

I have a 1985 automatic Rolex tudor. I noticed that I can have the minute hand line right up with the minute marker, and like twenty minutes later it is off. I tried backing up the hands to take up the slack and it still happens. Can anyone tell me what could be doing this.

The minute hand moves smoothly and continuously...it only exactly lines up with a minute marker once per minute.

I'm probably misunderstanding the OP's question, though...

No great loss. He posted identical questions about accuracy a week ago, here and in the technical forum. I gave what I thought was a reasonable answer, considering his description was vague, and got not even a thanks for my trouble.
