Eventually I will probably have both, but want to decide on one for my b-day next month. That is unless unexpected expenses come along
So whats it gonna be, 14060M or 16570 blk? hmmmmmm I already know what some ppl are gonna vote. |

Wow,
Both are great watches, Roger. If it were me I would get the 14060m just to have that classic Rolex look that the Sub stands for. But you already have that sweeeeeet SD. I like the 16570 too, with white dial. Even though it has the same movement and functions as the GMT, that white dial stands out, very unique looking Rolex. Tough decision. I wish I had such a dilemma! Good Luck! |

It's a no brainer... get a BNIB black ExpII. Why get a white dial? All that white gold painted over with black paint? Yech!
Then you can pick up a vintage no-date sub down the road for way less than what a BNIB costs. |

I voted 14060M. You've been talking about it for quite some time now and it seems like the one you want. I like the black EXPII also. Much better than the white. Either way you can't go wrong.

I gave this considerable thought, Roger. I ended up voting for the 14060M. Primarily because the E2 (as James likes to call it) is too much like the GMT. Really, there's no need to have two such similar watches. So much as I like the EXP, I had to go with the ND Sub. It was a very tough choice.

I actually thought the opposite, Ed. At a glance, especially without the Cyclops, the ND Sub looks too much like the SD. The E2's bezel, on the other hand, stands out from the others that Roger already has.

Why are we telling Roger what to get anyway? He shouldn't be asking us these difficult questions. Scholars have pondered over this issue for generations without coming up with a satisfactory answer. Reams have been written about it. How does he expect us to come up with a solution to this unsolvable puzzle. Sheesh!!!

Go ND sub, by far the most classic sports Rolex in the lineup. Followed closely by the exp I.
For the record, the most classic in the oyster perpetual lineup has to be the TT DJ, fluted, jubillee, champaign stick dial. |
